Branded a card game for a nonprofit (hover to see the backside) When I left the L.A. Times in May 2025, I was adamant that I would only take work from organizations that gave me the opportunity to positively affect the world around me. YIMBY Law was the first one to fit the bill.
First, I branded their inaugural newsletter and later they asked me to work on this card game.
The initial ask was for the retro-futuristic look of the bottom two cards, so I researched that style and created something inline with what they wanted.
The first two cards are how I envision this game.
